VanEck’s Ethereum Strategy ETF on Track for CBOE Listing
VanEck’s proposed Ethereum Strategy ETF is on track to be listed on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). The ETF first filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in November 2020. VanEck seeks to gain approval for the ETF, which would track the market price of Ethereum tokens (ETH) listed on digital asset exchanges. The ETF will offer investors exposure to Ethereum’s growth potential while diversifying away from Bitcoin, which is still the dominant cryptocurrency. In January, the SEC extended the comment period for the ETF, indicating a favorable outlook for VanEck. The ETF is likely to be approved in the coming months.
