RNC launches ‘Bank Your Vote’ websites in 16 languages across all 50 states ahead of GOP primaries
The Republican National Committee (RNC) has launched a website called “Bank Your Vote,” which is designed to provide information on how Americans can vote in the upcoming GOP primaries and caucuses. The site is available in 16 languages and is accessible for all 50 states.
The website contains information on how to register to vote in each state, how to locate and contact local election officials, how to request absentee ballots and more. The site also features information on voting timelines, which requires voters be aware of the special early voting deadlines in some states, and deadlines to register to vote.
The website is designed to help individuals prepare and participate in the upcoming primary elections. There is also a link to a “Know Your Rights” page which contains information on each state’s laws regarding voting.
The website states, “We believe in the power of individuals to make their voices heard and to vote in primary and caucuses. We hope you take the time to plan ahead for the election and to participate in the process.”
The RNC’s focus on accessible and equitable voting is especially relevant because of the 2020 election’s importance in determining the direction of the country. The party is hoping that its “Bank Your Vote” initiative will help to ensure every individual is able to cast their ballot and have their voice acknowledged in November.
