Biden says Dems, GOP ‘remain committed’ to bipartisan solutions following McCarthy ouster
Following the ouster of House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy, President Joe Biden said that Democrats and Republicans still remain committed to bipartisan solutions. Biden noted that Congress needs to focus on working together in order to get things done, “regardless of the leaders of the two parties in the House.” The president added that he is willing to reach out to the new Republican leadership to work together on finding common ground on some key issues facing the country.
