Fate of Sam Bankman-Fried’s Co-Defendants Uncertain: Prison Sentences Loom?

Sam Bankman-Fried’s 8 co-defendants face an uncertain future in the coming months, as they may face jail time for their involvement in Bankman-Fried’s alleged securities violation. Two of the co-defendants, Giancarlo Devitto and Aleksandr Milshteyn, have already pleaded guilty to securities fraud charges and entered into cooperation agreements with the SEC. The remaining 6 co-defendants have yet to enter pleas and face the possibility of hefty fines and prison sentences if they are found guilty. As of now, it is unknown which penalties the co-defendants could face or if they will receive plea deals from the government.
