Biden decries ‘evil’ Hamas attack, says Americans being held hostage
Joe Biden has condemned “evil” attacks by Hamas on Israel and expressed his concern for Americans being held hostage in the region. In a statement, the US President said: “Hamas’s criminal attack on Israel today is reprehensible, as is the holding of US citizens hostage by a terrorist group. The United States stands firmly with Israel and its security forces and condemns this evil attack. We are working with our partners to bring those responsible to justice and we join our Israeli partners in calling for the safe and rapid release of the Americans held captive.”
