WATCH: White House addresses possibility of pardoning Hunter Biden for first time since federal indictment

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said during her Tuesday press briefing that the president “has not been briefed on or discussed a possible pardon for Hunter Biden.” She added that it is “a matter for the DOJ to determine if and how they pursue a prosecution,” referencing the federal investigation into Biden over tax issues. Psaki added that the president “believes, of course, that the DOJ should apply the same principles they would apply to any other individual” and that he “of course would not intervene in an ongoing investigation.” Psaki said the president “has not been briefed on that, nor would he be, nor has he discussed it.”
